REVIEW USDr. Joseph Yetto is a board-certified neuroradiologist specializing in brain, spine, and head and neck imaging.
Dr. Yetto went to Texas Christian University for undergraduate studies earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He subsequently worked as a contract engineer for Alcon Laboratories before joining the military and graduating from the military medical school, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He then completed internship at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
Afterwards, Dr. Yetto underwent additional military training to become an Undersea and Diving Medical Officer (UMO/DMO) where he received the Honor-man Award for achieving the highest training class scores in both physical fitness and academics. As a UMO/DMO, Dr. Yetto was stationed at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit in Panama City Beach, FL. During this period, he also spent time underway on the USS Rhode Island where he qualified for the additional designation as a Submarine Medical Officer.
After completing his tour at NEDU, Dr. Yetto went on to complete a diagnostic radiology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) where he was selected as the Chief Resident. Upon graduation, he was honored as one of the top graduating NMCSD residents amongst all specialties based on his academic and research accomplishments. Dr. Yetto went on to serve as a general radiologist at Naval Hospital Bremerton with a special focus on neuroradiology and musculoskeletal imaging. After 15 years of active duty service, Dr. Yetto was honorably discharged in 2022. He then completed his Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Florida.
Dr. Yetto is proud to be a radiologist at Diaspora Radiology (DR) where the primary focus is always the patient and high-quality imaging is the standard.
Dr. Yetto lives with his wife, 4 children, 3 dogs, and growing number of farm animals.
