The MRI is non-invasive and completely painless, though you'll hear knocking noises from the machine during the scan. You'll lie on a padded table while the technologist performs the exam, and we provide earphones so you can listen to music if you'd like.
Remove any metal jewelry, body piercings, or watches before your scan, since these can affect the machine's magnetic field. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, and you're welcome to change into a hospital gown or scrubs if you'd prefer.
